At Hammond Homes we make the process as simple, stress free as possible. Get in touch with us to make a time to come meet with Mitch in the office. We will work through the process the type of home you are after, the size of the home required and budget. Hammond Homes priority is ensuring we keep clear communication throughout and provide you with your dream home in the process.

1 – SITE

Whether you have a building site, if not then we can help look for a site to fit the design you have in mind. Once a site has been confirmed, an onsite meeting will be arranged to discuss your ideas.

2 – PLANS

Hammond Homes have a great selection of plans and also a designer we work with should you choose for us to guide you throughout the design and build process. We are also more than happy to work with your chosen architect or designer.

3 – Design Concept Plan

If you decide for Hammond Homes to design you a better idea of what your new home home will look like. At this stage Hammond Homes will give you a guide as to the price of your house with specifications discussed. Once approved you can proceed to the next step.

4 – PRICE

Once plans & detailed specifications have been finalised. Hammond Homes will present you with a fixed price contract. Once you are happy with this its time to sign the contract.

5 – CONSENT

Working drawings are then submitted for building consent. Once council approval has been given, construction on your new home can begin.

6 – Interior Designer

While waiting for the building consent we arrange for a sit down with our inhouse interior designer to discuss colour, floor coverings, kitchen design, bathroom fittings etc.

7 – Construction

Before we start your build we have a pre-construction meeting to meet the project manager. Your project manager will stay in regular  contact to keep you in the loop.

8 – Final walk through

This is where we walk through your home and check that everything is complete and looking ship shape before giving you the keys to your new home.
